The Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) has granted funding to Flinsa – Gonvarri Industries for the development of an R&D project.

– Project title: “Development of new stainless steel tubes with high technological value for the automotive sector by means of CO2 laser welding technology”.
– Strategic objective: through the development of a new range of tubes with high technological value and added value, to increase the current market share of exhaust system tubes, strengthening the presence of FLINSA in the automotive sector both nationally and internationally.
Flinsa, a production plant belonging to Gonvarri Industries, has been the beneficiary of a partially reimbursable grant from the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) of up to 273 K€, which represents a percentage of 65.95% of the total budget accepted, amounting to 414.5 K€, with a duration until 31/12/21.
This aid is for the project entitled “Development of new stainless steel tubes with high technological value for the automotive sector by means of CO2 laser welding technology”.
The strategic objective of the project is to achieve through the development of a new range of tubes with high technological value and added value, to increase the current market share of exhaust system tubes, strengthening FLINSA’s presence in the automotive sector both nationally and internationally.
